Blizzard Jonas' visit last weekend marked the official start of my least favorite season. Don't get me wrong, I find snow beautiful, I just wish it wasn't so cold. And wet. And messy. And did I mention cold?
On the bright side, having 3 feet of snow gave me every excuse not to leave my house and spend the better part of a week trying new recipes, cooking up some old favorites, and experimenting with some warm, boozy cocktails to melt away those snowed-in blues.
